Nice variety of subjects and different reading levels. Because the books are short (not big chapter books) my grandie has been more open to reading them, than chapter books which they find overwhelming.

It was exciting to win these books. I passed them on so our six year old grandson could enjoy the books. I discussed with his parents that many of the books would be too hard for our grandson to read currently, so it was agreed that many of the books were to be donated to our grandson’s primary school so that they other children could also benefit from this prize.

I was very lucky to win these and have passed them on to Beanies for Babies which is a knitting group based in Hamilton. At Christmas they send out books, donated by the members, to children of the parents. A lot of these kids would not have a book of there own and these books will be gratefully received.
